Commissioner Candidates Support Central City Cultural Spaces

Candidates Commissioner Sandy Hollingsworth and Alderman Jeff Aiken attended the Belvidere Foundation and Central City Opera Board tour on July 27. Jeff spoke about his 40 year support of the Belvidere and shared stories of celebrities’ performances there. Sandy expressed her gratitude for expanding access for lower income residents, seniors and people with disabilities through the free dress rehearsal tickets. Both candidates enthusiastically support the Belvidere renovation for community gathering space.
