Another Successful FUNdraiser

The GilpinDems ended the weekend with food, beverage, music, auction and an inspiring lineup of speakers. Congressman Joe Neguse was able to catch up with his old friend Judge Gary Jackson. Scott Mangino, 2nd Vice-Chair of the Colorado Democratic Party reviewed his week at the Democratic National Convention, and former County Commissioner Linda Isenhart led the program by introducing party officers. Commissioner Susan Berumen introduced County Commissioner candidates Sandy Hollingsworth and Jeff Aiken. District Attorney Alexis King, State Assembly candidate Lesley Smith, State Board of Education candidate Kathy Gebhardt were also in attendance and presented their accomplishments along with their hopes and dreams for Gilpin County, Colorado and our Country. Gussie from Augustina’s Winery and Buddy from Dostal Alley donated and served the wine and beer while Tres Burros entertained us with their joyful music. Throughout the FUNdraiser, guests enjoyed a bounty of locally prepared food and the silent auction kept everyone checking the wares and ensuring that their bids remained on top. The FUNdraiser was an overwhelming success, raising a record amount of money, and surpassing our expectations! A HUGE thank you to all who made the event happen and especially to our honored guests and attendees. See y’all next year!

Retired Judge Gary Jackson, whose grandfather developed Lincoln Hills in Gilpin County, presented a history of the area and sparked up attendees to work hard for our country and party, Judge Jackson is shown here with Jeff and Sandy. Gilpin County Dems were honored to have the judge and his wife, Regina, an award winning author, attend our FUNdraiser!
